Dr. J.M Dickson. Serving patients of the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.
Dr. Dickson is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Medical School and Otolaryngology Residency Program. Following a five year adult ENT residency, he became a pediatric fellow of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Centre, where he trained for two additional years under renowned pediatric ENT surgeon Dr. Robin Cotton. Dr. Dickson has performed thousands of surgeries ranging from simple adenotonsillectomy to complicated otology and airway reconstruction cases.
Dr. Dickson serves on the Board of Directors for the Children's Hearing and Speech Centre of BC, an educational centre for deaf and hard of hearing children.
He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at UBC and is a staff surgeon at Surrey Memorial Hospital. His most recent research and writings include serving as a contributing author to the textbook ‘Congenital Malformations of the Head and Neck’, published in 2014.
Dr. Dickson lives in the Lower Mainland with his wife and two young children.
